Microsoft brings his Chatbot Copilot (formerly Bing Chat) to the App Store for MacOS. This is already available in the USA and Canada, other countries are likely to follow. So far, MacOS users have been able to use the chatbot free of charge in web browsers, as well as, subject to charges, in office applications of the data group.

The Microsoft Copilot designs and understands texts, translates them, creates images on request and can, for example, evaluate PDF documents or YouTube videos. Behind it is the technology of the Microsoft partner Openai (GPT, DALL-E) and Microsoft itself. The app enables the app to save the history of the interaction and personalize the expenses, i.e. to be tailored to the respective user.
A prerequisite for installing the app are MacOS 14 or disciples and a device with an Apple CPU from M1. In North America, the application is designated as suitable for users from the age of twelve.
