After Apple announced yesterday and immediately launched the first beta of iOS 26 to the developers, it turned out that a lot of attention attracted the updated battery menu. There is a new energy saving mode there, and the iPhone will now give information about how long it remains until its full charge.
IOS 26 added users to see information about the remaining loading time. Such occurs when the iPhone is stacked to the charger – wired or wireless, and the information is available in the battery tab in the settings or directly on the locked screen.
The smartphone will also indicate if connected to a slow charger.
Another novelty in the battery settings menu is the Adaptive Battery mode, which is located next to the already known Low Power Mode. The new mode aims to extend the battery life by optimizing some settings when it feels energy -intensive. For example, it can reduce the brightness of the display.
The Battery Health section is saved, which shows how many battery recharge cycles, capacity, and the ability to set a charge limit of up to 80%.
