New version number, new design: Apple presented iOS 26 on Monday. The successor to iOS 18 relies on a fresh design with glass reminiscent, translucent and animated elements and pastel tones. Apple calls the new design language “Liquid Glass”, it not only comes to the iPhone, but also all other Apple devices or operating systems. This ensures more consistency – together with a uniform new version number.
