iPhone 17 Air will get a special accessory because of your smaller battery

Both Samsung and Apple are preparing new smartphones with an ultra-blade that will impress with their design, but will inevitably come with the disadvantage of a smaller battery. That’s why Apple seems to be preparing a special accessory for its iPhone 17 Air, which will allow its future owners not to worry about whether their phone will last all day away from the charger.

The iPhone 17 Air is expected to have a profile of less than 6 mm and to appear in the fall with the other models in the iPhone 17 series. We do not know what the capacity of its battery will be, but the thinner body will surely make it less than other Apple smartphones.

Interesting information now has emerged from The Information, which states that the iPhone 17 Air battery will allow only about 60 to 70% of users to spend all day without recharging. For comparison, this indicator of other models is between 80 and 90 percent.

That’s why Apple looks like one of its popular accessories in the past – Smart Battery Case. This is a case for the iPhone, which also has a built -in external battery that charges the device wirelessly. This accessory was offered years ago, but at one point it was dropped from the company’s portfolio and was replaced by a more versatile external battery with Magsafe.

Apple is said to be intending to create a new Smart Battery Case specifically for the iPhone 17 Air, which should help him last longer without plugging in to the power grid.

The same source says the US company has not too high expectations for sales on the iPhone 17 Air. Only 10% of the production originally pledged will be on the slim model, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have 40%, the iPhone 17 Pro – 25%, and the iPhone 17 – 25% of capacity.

What will be the interest in the iPhone 17 Air, and so will it be called the device at all – we will find out in a few months.
